I’m going to call it for Fister. This administration had no strategy past ‘get Obama elected’ and then kept the lights on in marketing and union support. Everything else is spaghetti against the wall – or perhaps the entire administration is really “CHANGE everything the voters want left as-is, and HOPE that it we are out of office by the time our Maddoff like scheme collapses, establishing libraries to celebrate our legacy”
When a country
- depends upon another country to buy their debt to fund their new government spending
- depends upon the natural resources only available in that same “other country” from #1 to be able to switch energy sources
- refuses to tap into their own natural resources to reduce their dependency
- throws its weight around about ‘unfair trade practices’
- tries to dictate to the country in #1 the right way to manage their currency
What do you think the natural end result will likely be?
Most people will extrapolate and realize hey, I’m dependent on the other party – and either I get less dependent or I end up having to “put up and shut up” – strategically, you play the chess game and scenarios in your mind before stepping into the field of landmines.
Not this administration – and Legal Insurrection called it. It’s only a question of time when actions #4 and #5 result in supply drying up for #1-3
