Blame It On the Rain (or Out of Sync)

March 19, 2010

There was a good post this morning over at the Pirate’s Cove.  I took a different angle on a similar thing not long ago myself.  Let’s look at the Cove.  Responding to an NRDC claim that Climate Change has begun to affect Governments’ ability to get things done, Teach says:

I’ll admit that I’m usually a little less forceful in my opinions, but what the heck.  It’s all in fun.

But overall, what is it with this weather?  Or at least the propensity of the weather to figure into our lives?  It’s raining, so I can’t go outside.  Last I checked, I don’t melt.  It’s snowing, so we can’t hire people.  It’s sunny, so we can’t work, we have to go outside.

When it translates to the government, I’ll actually be happy.  Heck, if they can’t work, they can’t raise my taxes.  Woo!
